Giving your pet a bath is probably not high up on your list of favorite things to do. So, why not let our experienced professionals handle it? Bathing your animal is important for its health, as well your own. But, it can be a tough job to handle, especially if you have a large or skittish pet. We have the skills and the facilities to bathe even the most resistant cat or dog.
Why does your cat or dog need a bath? Your pet’s fur constantly picks up all kinds of yuck. Dirt, bacteria, fungi, and allergens such as dander, dust mites, saliva, and pollen cling to fur. These particles can irritate your pet, as well as their human family members. Regular bathing removes this debris from your pet and keeps it out of your house, helping humans and animals manage their allergies. Bathing is also an important treatment for animals with skin infections, whether they are bacterial, fungal, yeast, ringworm, or mange. Many times, regular bathing for these animals can remove the need for antibiotic or antifungal treatment or allow for less medication to be used.
You may be able to bath your pet in your own home, but there are a number of reasons to let us do it. We are stocked with special shampoos that can treat ticks or fleas, itching, irritation, allergies, or skunk sprays. We have the tub space for pets of any size, and the skills to calm pets who may be anxious about taking a bath. Additionally, all animals will have their nails trimmed as part of the bathing service. We also offer dematting services if needed, especially for those dog and cat breeds with longer fur.
